If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I like to try to recognize and support the learning and sharing among Ontario educators on #FollowFriday. Today’s no different; I just sent out a list of folks that I think that should be followed. They represent some of the excellent working and collaborating that’s happening in these parts.
It’s relatively easy to do; I have a Twitter list called Ontario-Educators and it’s just a column that appears in my Seesmic Desktop or MetroTwit desktop. I just run the list and share it with whoever is interested. If you’re reading from this group, you’re getting our conversations, our blogs, our twitter messages, etc. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could find some way to view it all in a single spot?
Now, you can!
Paper.li is an online resource that daily creates an online journal. Well, now, it also creates an online resource for Ontario Educators. It’s updated daily so you can check out the latest. It’s available here.
With apologies to Stephen Downes, the newspaper is autonamed “ontario-educators Daily”. But, we’re good to go. Check out the latest from this great group of educators daily – you can subscribe and be notified when a new edition hits the street. To reflect the power of “Now”, a live Twitter stream reflects what’s currently happening in the province.
So, to all my Ontario friends, congratulations. We’re all publishing and co-creating! If you’re an Ontario educator and I haven’t added you to this list which currently stands at 135, please let me know and I’ll add you to the group.
Please share your thoughts here. I’d enjoy reading them.
