Computer Science Teachers Association 2014 Annual Conference

Just a little bit of disclosure here, I am on the conference committee and chair of the workshop committee for the CSTA Annual Conference.

The conference moves around the United States and I’m pleased to share that, this year, the conference is in St. Charles Illinois, just outside Chicago.  For Ontario Computer Studies teachers, this make attendance even easier.  I did attend a planning meeting in December and it’s only a five hour drive from Windsor, ON to the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.  The location is truly a vacation resort with golf course, swimming pools, and activities located on site.  The location may be more appealing than ever.

2014 CSTA Annual Conference
July 14-15, 2014 Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles, Illinois

 The CSTA annual conference is a professional development opportunity for computer science and information technology teachers who need practical, classroom-focused information to help them prepare their students for the future.

 Highlights:

Pre-registration is required and will be accepted for the first 500 teachers. The registration deadline is June 26, 2014. Also, please note that you must complete the payment portion of the online form in order to be fully registered for the conference!
