In the darnedest places

You can’t turn you computer on and do any kind of reading these days without running into something popping up about Artificial Intelligence. I find it very exciting to read and think of the possibilities. Anything that makes for more productivity and functionality has my vote.

I’ve used Slack in a few organizations for a long time. It’s a premiere way of handling and managing conversations in ways that plain old email can’t touch. Even these days, I have a Slack instance with two other people to stay in touch with each other and facilitate our planning.

It was the last place that I would have thought that Chat GPT might pop up. Then, I read this.

Stay in the know on all things Slack GPT.

It appears as though Artificial Intelligence is coming to this platform.

At this point, I’m at a loss to even suggest where Artificial Intelligence would fit into my life and on this platform.

And yet, we see all kinds of implementation where good things have the promise of becoming better because of it.

Just recently, I installed and started using the Opera Developer browser and Artificial Intelligence is prominently there in the interface.

I’ve used it with a bit of success already. I’ll be honest; at this point, it’s mostly a curiosity but a curiosity that shows promise.

I’m still at a loss to see how it would work within Slack but I’m not at the point where I want to pooh-pooh it. Slack is such a terrific utility; I’m really curious to see where Artificial Intelligence can take it.
