I thought this topic followed yesterday’s post nicely. And, it’s all Google.
It’s a chance to see what you know about the world, or more accurately, what the world is searching for on Google.
From the left side of the screen, choose a category and then a topic. Then, head to the big image to see if you can find it.
Be prepared to doing a lot of zooming in and out and moving around.
Now, it’s not as simple as it appears to be on the surface. Maybe that’s a reason why it’s so difficult to find what you’re looking for when you’re actually surfing for something on the internet. It really is a nice analogy.
Those who used to attend my CIESC (Computers in Education School Contacts) would certainly nod your head if I said that we’d be doing this at a meeting for engagement.
You select a category from the left side of the screen and then go digging into the graphic to find it. I found it easier to say that it is than actually doing it.
It took a nice break from this rabbit hole to write the post.
For the classroom, this would be a nice activity to tuck away for the appropriate time.
