Name that tune

Time for another rabbit hole. Maybe that should have been the title of this blog!

The site is “Conserve the Sound“. Let Google Chrome or your browser extension do the translation for you if your German isn’t up to date. It may not be all that necessary as some of the words are obvious.

At this link within the much bigger website, you’re set up to enjoy a huge collection of sounds.

I had my guinea pigs over recently and had them close their eyes and listen carefully as I played some of the sounds for them. Their job was to listen and tell me what the sound was. Some of them are pretty easy but you can raise the level of difficulty pretty easily.

Whether used as an ice breaker or an in-class activity, you’ll find a number of ways to use this resource.

If not, just have fun and play with it with friends and family.
