Numeracy in one spot

One of the challenging things in this technology influenced world is the abundance and over-abundance of terms and expressions.

If you’re in doubt, just go into any technology store, look online, or just try to compare one piece of technology with another.  There are just so many terms.

How do you know them all?

Once solution will be to search as you find a new-to-you term or take a look at this document from ACSE.  It’s titled “Tech Ed Numeracy Terms“.

This is another crowd sourced and edited resource courtesy of Peter Beens with the target audience being Technology Teachers.  But, I would suggest that it’s a good resource for everyone.

Take a moment to check things out at the link above.  You’ll probably want to bookmark it.

Peter is also the author of the Google A-Z document that was featured here.

The content of this blog is created by me at the keyboard or as a result of an aggregator of my daily reading under the title OTR Links. On Fridays, look for my signature post "This Week in Ontario Edublogs" where I try to share some great writing from Ontario Educators. The other regular post appears Sunday mornings as I try to start a conversation about things that have gone missing from our daily lives.
