Learning to Scratch

There are many ways to learn a new programming language.

One of the things that I feel that I have to do for myself to be successful is to give myself a goal.  It’s easy enough to sit through a quicky presentation or a workshop but commitment works best for me.

I don’t want something to just gloss over content; I want to really put it to use.

Getting Unstuck” might be a solution that works for you.

It’s a three week course from the Creative Computing Lab at Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Around here, I will periodically open up a language environment and write a program just for the fun of it.  My limitation is in my imagination.  I typically need a purpose.

So, I signed up for this “summer learning experience” to have someone else push me with coding ideas.

Does it interest you?
