Already, I’ve found one that I want to share with my senior students so that they can digest some of the info and respond to the points (http://12most.com/2013/03/26/ensure-using-legally-online-photos/), but I know I’ll also be looking at Trademark vs. Copyright as well. Thanks, Colleen. I found that article fascinating. Of course, there is a US slant and you’d have to talk about the difference between fair use and fair dealing. I think that it should, at the least, tug at people sense of decency and fairness when looking for content.

It’s always a good reminder to chat about “decency & fairness” with students. Assumptions of anonymity are huge when working online, and they may not realize that what they take for granted affects their digital footprint. I’m going to look into fair use vs. fair dealing, as I’m not yet sure what they are… thanks Doug.
