Educational Quotes

Among all the great blog posts from Ontario Edubloggers, there’s one really special one that stands out.

My friend, Paul Cornies, is a retired English teacher and Literacy Coach.  He runs the Quoteflections blog and has done so for a number of years now.  The focus of the blog has always been about "good" and he’s always been a great source for quotations.  Recently, his blog has taken on a new format where Paul’s heavily researching quotations.  Unlike many sites that throw out gratuitous quotes, Paul does a great deal of research and digs deeply to find the best of the best.

On Wednesday, Paul shared "16 Quotes on Education".  These are some of the best quotations that I’ve seen including one of my personal favourites.

Education is what survives when what has been learned has been forgotten. ~ B. F. Skinner

I would challenge all the educational readers to visit Paul’s post and enjoy the 16 that he shares.  Take one of them and use it in your classroom or staffroom today and see if you can’t spark some conversation.

Enjoy Paul’s and all of the other excellent Ontario Educational Blogs available at this LiveBinder or ScoopIT site.  If you’re an Ontario Edublogger and not listed, fill out the form so that we can get you listed as soon as possible.

And, for all Ontario Edubloggers, if you want one of these spiffy badges for your blog, drop me a DM or an email message and I’ll get one out to you right away.

Have a terrific Friday.

    I am a student in Dr. Strange’s EDM310 class
at the University of South Alabama. I enjoyed reading the quotes.
