Long time friend Ross Isenegger, author of the Mathspot Blog threw out an entry recently entitled Myers-Brigg for a Blog. I went there immediately to scope things out. Ross is solidly grounded in reality and it generally good for spiking some interest and forcing me to think a little bit.
Well, this time, he was talking about a website called the Typealyzer. You feed it the link to your blog and sit back on the couch. In a moment or two, you’re analyzed.
Got to try that, said I, and so I did. Here’s what the analysis is for “doug – off the record”.
The analysis indicates that the author of https://dougpete.wordpress.com is of the type:
The Scientists enjoy theoretical work that allows them to use their strong minds and bold creativity. Since they tend to be so abstract and theoretical in their communication they often have a problem communcating their visions to other people and need to learn patience and use conrete examples. Since they are extremly good at concentrating they often have no trouble working alone.
Something else for me to think about. Thanks, Ross.
