Infographic Labs studied the history of search engines and came up with quite an informative timeline of the history of search engines. If you think you knew them all, think again. Most of them I recognize, but there are some that are new, and I don’t know if all of them are in operation anymore.

Since 1982, the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest has given a yearly prize for the worst sentence.
This year’s winner is Sue Fondrie, associate professor of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
