My idea for a blog entry this morning was stolen by TheCleverSheep.

That fuzzy blogger took my idea and ran with it.

What it ended up doing was generating a pretty insightful, inspiring post.  I think it’s a great concept.  In addition to the historical concept, I’m also thinking that this would be a great way to get students into newspapers and online media.  Imagine commenting on the events of the day from the perspective of one of the participants and limiting yourself to 140 characters?  Reading for meaning, synthesis, writing for an audience – it’s all there.

Rather than compete, I’ll just send y’all over to the Sheep’s domain.
