The first part of the week sees me in Phoenix for the NACOL Conference. Aboard the Northwest flight, I figure to do another first for me and that’s to make a blog entry so that I can post it once I get connected.
I had installed the WordPress app on my iPod so what the hey.
Now all I need is a topic. I could talk about how rough the flight was over Lake Michigan making it virtually impossible to type without errors but that’s not a big deal.
I looked through the flight magazine but it was regular fare except for the Chris Pirillo advertisement. Cool. There are no Sky Mall catalogues. That’s too bad because I really like looking through them and lusting for new technology.
So I decided to look around and it’s amazing the amount of electronics on board. Other than nerdy me, there’s a lady watching CARS on a portable DVD player. The person in front of me has a calculator and is doing math homework, a girl in the next aisle is taking pictures of passengers with a really good looking SLR camera. There are a few laptops open and of course a whack of mp3 players.
I’m watching the movie across the aisle and up a seat and the person next to me is reading my blog as I type is. (not any longer now…) <grin>
It’s an interesting experience and just built for people watchers. I love it.
so, a new first for me. My blog and my iPod have now joined the blogging mile high club.
And editing too. I’ll post exactly this content without further editing and see what it looks like when we land.
