The Ocean Deep

From the TED talks, comes this movie featuring ocean explorer David Gallo.

It’s a gorgeous video that gives us images from the ocean that we couldn’t possibly have seen in our regular lives.

There is one line in the movie, however, that we all need to ponder “The true voyage of discovery is not so much in seeking new landscapes as in having new eyes.”

What does having new eyes mean to you?

How much more can we see and understand when we use our new eyes?

  1. Paul C. Says:

New eyes to me is the realization that our planet has limitless resources. We need to preserve the beauty and splendour that’s left before it’s gone forever.

    Thanks for this recommended video.
