A couple of things crossed my desk in light of the call for an October 14 election in Canada.
David Weinberger pointed out his interesting post about Canadian civility and drew a parallel to what our civility would look applied to the American context. It really was laugh out loud funny.
Then, IT Business reports on the latest happenings in the “spam-o-sphere”. Their expression, not mine.
In an attempt to educate the email reading public, spammers are announcing that Paris Hilton is John McCain’s running mate in the elections on the other side of the border.
Out on a drive, the landscape looked pretty nice. Over the next while, we’ll clutter it up with red and blue and orange election signs.
I guess we’re just civil. The biggest controversy may well be a candidate who named his dog Kyoto. You know, I can’t even find a suitable link honouring my civility as a reference to that so I’ll just do this.
With elections running on both sides of the border, which one will steal the headlines? No contest.
