Great Teachers

As I was reflecting on the great people I met at NECC, I thought about the great teachers that I had in the past. It was amazing the number of names that I recalled from elementary school at Clinton Public School, secondary school at Central Huron Secondary School, university at the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto.

These teachers helped shape my values, interests, and whatever intellect that I might have. It’s a shame to have lost track with people that I may have only known for a year in the role of student.

So, I thought, why not honour these folks for helping me do whatever it is that I do in a Web 2.0 world.

I’ve been playing around with Wordle and so decided to make myself a cloud of the names that I recall having a significant impact. It was too good not to share so I made it the background image on my Twitter home.

I wasn’t going to say anything about it but had a new Twitter friend curious about the names.

So, now they know!
